The designer, manufacturer and distributor of eyewear Safilo has unveiled the Spring/Summer 2022 collections of the brands Chiara Ferragni and Carolina Herrera.

This is Chiara Ferragni’s first eyewear collection. According to the brand, the range is aimed at “contemporary and dynamic” young women and reflects the “fashion and pop essence” of Chiara Ferragni.

Bright pop styles feature in Chiara Ferragni’s debut sunglasses collection

Bold plastic styles are presented in striking fluorescent colors, many of which are embellished with glitter. Design features include the eye pattern on the frames, “logomania” patterned lenses and the trademark star. The collection features two product stories: Chiara’s Fashion and Chiara’s Essential.

Chiara’s fashion was designed for “true trendsetters and daring fashionistas”. The range includes LA Eye with oval-shaped cellulose propionate sunglasses, available in seven colors all paired with gray lenses.

Chiara’s Fashion also includes cat-eye and rectangular frames.

Chiara Ferragni sunglasses reflect the brand’s “fashion and pop essence”

Chiara’s Essential models are described as “easy to wear and elegant”, in colorful glitter and “blur” colors and more subtle transparent acetates, which are highlighted by lenses enriched with eye-like logomania graphics.

The Essential Glam Eye by Chiara offers a “feminine interpretation of the timeless aviator shape” in stainless steel with pop and glitter colors. Colors include gold, neon azure, neon yellow, and neon pink, with contrasting tips and dark gray, rose gold mirror, or gray lenses. One frame features the logomania pattern on the lenses.

Chiara’s Essential also offers round and rectangular frames in a range of colors.

Carolina Herrera

The Spring/Summer 2022 collection is meant to reflect the essence of the Carolina Herrera brand, “conveying both a classic and contemporary idea of ​​femininity”.

Colorful and stylish frames come in acetate and metal, or a combination of the two materials, and include square, rectangular, butterfly, and cat-eye shapes. Design details include pearls, enamel accents, shiny CH red monogram logo tags and a round 3D monogram on the temple tips.

Beads features an acetate and light metal frame, with pearls on the front as well as on the temples and tips.

The range includes cat-eye models in injected resin, with polished metal rims. The sunglasses have the Carolina Herrera logo on the temples and a half-pearl on the temple tips and are available in black with smoke lenses, tan with brown lenses, nude opal with nude smoke lenses and blue opal with blue lenses.

the Peas introduces a polka dot print of different sizes and colors on the wire cores of the frame temples. Hearts focuses on round stainless steel frames with a heart-shaped cutout on a thin sheet of metal behind the lenses while Grooves features striped pattern details on the acetate front, metal rims and temples.

Essential also uses stripes, either in the metal element on the slender temples or in bold color contrasts.

Its butterfly-style sunglasses are made of acetate with stripes on the arms, embellished with an enamel detail and the CH monogram logo. The temple tips have a red CH monogram logo and the sunglasses are available in a range of colors and coordinating lenses.

The Carolina Herrera and Chiara Ferragni collections also include optical frames.
