Revo, the world leader in high-quality performance sunglasses, today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with golfer Annika Sorenstam, considered by many to be the greatest golfer the game has ever seen. As part of this partnership, Annika will act as Revo Golf Ambassador and publicize the NASA Revo lens lineup. Revo also plans to work with Annika on the design of two new custom styles for golfers, slated for launch in spring 2022.
“It’s a lesson in humility when Revo’s commitment to technology and global excellence is recognized by those who really know their equipment,” said CEO Cliff Robinson. “Annika is a golf legend and it is an honor and a privilege to team up with her. I can’t wait for everyone to see the exciting designs we have created.
During her career, Annika has collected more than 90 world victories, including 10 major championships. In 2003, she became the first woman in 58 years to compete against the Colonial men and this year she won the US Senior Women’s Open, 13 years after her last USGA competition. She is still the LPGA’s all-time money leader. Her ANNIKA Foundation organizes seven global events with over 600 girls competing each year in over 60 different countries.
“I am super excited for this chance to collaborate with Revo,” said Annika. “I always made sure to protect my eyes from the sun, especially on the golf course. With Revo’s top glasses, I can be functional and fashionable even on the busiest days.
NASA’s signature light management system, Revo, has protected consumers from harmful sunlight bandwidth for decades with a collection of lenses that protect, enhance and improve the way we see the world. Each Revo lens provides 100% UVA, UVB and UVC protection to help prevent vision problems.
