More than 240 exhibitors commit to Vision Expo East 2022

(PRESS RELEASE) ALEXANDRIA, VA – Vision Expo organizers The Vision Council and RX today share that more than 240 exhibitors have committed to Vision Expo East to date. Vision Expo East 2022 will take place from March 31 to April 3 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York.

“We look forward to hosting a dynamic show. With over 240 exhibitors already engaged and over 75 additional exhibitors expected to join, representing a wide range of companies across the eye care landscape, the momentum is strong and reflects the industry-wide enthusiasm for to be back in person in New York for the first time since 2019,” said Mitch Barkley, vice president of trade shows and events at The Vision Council. “We are committed to bringing the community together safely, providing important ongoing education and creating an atmosphere conducive to relationship building, networking and doing business. Vision Expo East will include several Show Floor districts, including The Atelier, a nearly complete new district animated by design workshops dedicated to handcrafted eyewear and featuring a select group of sought-after independent designers from around the world. L’Atelier is designed to serve as an intimate and sophisticated setting for shopping and networking. The neighborhood will offer special amenities and curated experiences, from a dedicated welcome concierge and live music to an exclusive lounge, beverage and canape catering service.

Exhibitors committed to the Atelier to date include: Emmanuelle Khanh, LINDA FARROW, T HENRI, Tom Davies, Eyeworks and Thierry Lasry.

In addition to the Show Floor quarters, The Bridge will serve as the Show’s main stage destination and will host a rich program of special events, panels and presentations. More information on the events taking place in The Bridge will be shared in the coming weeks.

Health and security

Vision Expo’s comprehensive set of health and safety guidelines, policies and resources designed to support a safe experience, known as VisionSAFE, have been updated in accordance with New York State public health requirements and New York City as well as guidelines put in place by the Jacob Javits Center, including requirements for vaccines, mask coverings and more. VisionSAFE includes details of all health and safety protocols that will be in place on site; specific guidelines for exhibitors; travel tips and resources; and frequently asked questions.
