Welcoming over two million travelers each year, COS is a gateway to stunning natural wonders, historic sites and a popular adventure and sports scene. Now, Hudson will help travelers fall in love with Colorado’s “little airport” even more by introducing three stores to its new marketplace: two convenience stores and one specialty store. Each store will be individually designed with unique design elements and feature local products to create a sense of place that’s perfect for the Colorado Springs lifestyle and experience.

Hudson will begin operating at COS on September 1, 2022, with construction of the three new stores beginning in 2023. The new stores will operate under the HG COS Concessionaires joint venture with the local Disadvantaged Business Enterprise partner Airport Concessions ( ACDBE), Uyen Le, owner of two Beauty Bars in Colorado Springs.
A dynamic and unparalleled portfolio of stores, designed specifically for COS
The three stores – one before security and two after security – will offer travelers the best in travel convenience and specialty retail, anchored by the iconic Traveler’s Best Friend service for which Hudson is most known. Spanning over 4,700 square feet of dealership space, the new additions to COS’ retail portfolio will include:
Hudson–Colourful Colorado: Inspired by the iconic “Welcome to Colorful Colorado” road signs found along Colorado’s state lines, Hudson – Colorful Colorado is a locally themed travel convenience concept celebrating the beautiful landscapes of the mountains, rivers and plains of the Centennial State. Equipped with a self-service payment system and a mobile point of sale, the store offers a wide assortment of books, electronics, food and beverages, as well as local gifts and souvenirs, as well as Herschel Supply Co. and Sunglass Hut brand stores.
Hudson nonstop: Skip the checkout lines at Hudson Nonstop, a travel convenience concept that offers travelers a quick and frictionless way to grab their essentials, food and beverages, and local favorites, then head out, all without stopping to pay.
The atrium in Colorado Springs: Featuring a collection of local, regional, national and global brands, The Atrium At Colorado Springs is a one-stop specialty retail experience. With branded shops inside, the Atrium offers an assortment of products that includes accessories from Happy Socks; sunglasses from Sunglass Hut; electronics from Brookstone and other major brands; baggage from Herschel Supply Co.; official US Olympics and Paralympics Museum and United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) merchandise; and toys from Build-A-Bear Workshop® and LEGO®. Inside, the interactive visual experience will continue to come alive through carefully chosen finishes and architectural accents.
