Our fascination with Elvis’ life, from Graceland to his marriage to Priscilla, never fades. So when MS Rau Antiques in New Orleans recently published an article about a flashy lapis ring worn by the king on stage, you better believe we clicked. And that’s where we found the Holy Grail: a real pair of Elvis sunglasses also on sale. Now, we don’t expect such coveted pieces of rock and roll memorabilia to be in our price range, but we To do like to daydream. So the big question, how much do they cost?

First, the ring – “Just a lapis-burning hunka hunka!” as @bellarosajewelrysb commented on MS Rau’s Instagram post.

Typical of Elvis’ flamboyant stage style and the near perfect accessory to a bejeweled white jumpsuit, this ring features a large lapis cabochon in an ornate 14k gold setting. According to MS Rau’s listing, Elvis gave the ring to his friend and bodyguard Dave Hebler, who provided the certificate of authenticity. The price of this piece of rock and roll history? $24,850.

Now for those shades. For a future buyer, looking at the world through rose-colored glasses will forever mean looking through genuine Elvis prescription glasses in a pair of 1970s gold aviator frames, synonymous with the rockstar’s image as a its paws.

According to MS Rau’s listing, Elvis bought this custom pair of Neo-style Eyewear at his usual haunt, the West Hollywood Optique boutique on Sunset Boulevard. Worn by the king on stage, with certificates of authenticity from the Elvis Presley Museum in Las Vegas and Artie Dadyan, the sunglasses command – you might want to sit down – $54,500.

So, do we have the money, honey? Maybe if we take the plunge and move into the tiny house of our dreams.
